We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2023, at the age of 73, Charles Joseph Conto Jr. (Chariton, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Condon Conto and Hattie Elsie Condon Conto (McFaul); and his siblings, James Conto, George Condon, Richard Condon, Patrick Condon, Herbert Conto, Beverly Condon (Pelkey), Joan Conto (Harris) and Sue Conto (Wing).
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Mae Conto (Mitchell); his children, Leo Joseph Conto and Clair-Jhean Mills (Todd); his grandchildren, Zaine Mills and Cheyenne Mills of Chariton; his brother John Conto (Janet) of Dover Plains, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Barbra Conto of Massena, NY and Tom Wing of Ogdensburg, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Charles' family to assist with expenses.
