He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Palmer and Maxine Palmer; and his siblings, Dwaine and Joann. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his sons, Ty and Dustin Palmer; and his grandchildren, Abigail and Benjamin Palmer.
Regrettably, an ensuing battle with Parkinson's disease finally ended his career in the air.
