We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2023, at the age of 93, Bernard William Aulwes of Chariton, Iowa, born in Guttenberg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Aulwes and Beatrice Aulwes (Bogert); his sisters, Pat and Grace; his great grandchild Maely; his siblings-in-law, Vic, Vince, Bill and Florence; and his nephews, Brian, Johnny Ray and Mike.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Nancy Stansbery, Kim Noble (Scott), Lori Moore (Jim), Jamie Aulwes (Ann) and Gunn-Marit Kristiansen; and his siblings, Jerry Aulwes, Helen Schwarz (Duane) and Carl Aulwes (Rita). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Vision II Theatre.
