He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hatch of Cedar Rapids; his sons, Andrew Hatch (Angie) of Cedar Rapids and Christopher Hatch (Amber) of Troy, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tori Hatch, Gaven Hatch and Kimberly Forbes; his great grandchildren, Oakley and Vadamae Mosher; and his sisters, Janet White (John) of Central City and Judy Smith of Olin, Iowa..
