She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lapka and Annie Lapka (Sunderman); her daughter Wendy Schense; and her sister Phyllis Burhenn. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Billie Lorie Ganzeveld (Todd Laird) and Jeffery Alan Schense (Deborah); her grandchildren, Greg Carpenter, Chrystal Carpenter, Jamie Carpenter, Mercede Propes (Brandon) and Trevor Schense; her great grandchildren, Allyssa, Liberty, Lydia and Anna; and her sister Charlotte Schaup. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's memory.
