He is survived by: his wife Dawn Hartig (Jones) of Central City, Iowa; his children, Rob Hartig (Michele) of Tipton, Garrett Hartig (Britt) of Clarence, Iowa, Casey McDowell (Aaron) of North Carolina, Crystal Anderson of Olin and Candice Wyrick of Davenport, Iowa; and his sisters, Janice Welch (Mike) of Austin, TX and Bev Lawrence (Pat) of Toddville, Iowa.
