He is survived by: his children, Olivia McGovern and Samuel McGovern; his parents, Gary McGovern and Connie McGovern; his siblings, Peggy Bragg (Dan), Annette Caffery, Kellean Nielsen and Chris McGovern (Ranae); and his former wife Michelle Strand. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's memory may be directed to the family.
