He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Williamsen and Hattie Williamsen (Hansen); his great grandchild Gabriel Andersen; and his siblings, Gerri, Thelma, Betsy, Doris and Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Overton of Central City; his children, Jeff Andersen (Shirley) of Cedar Rapids, Karla McGinty (Larry) of Cedar Rapids and Alex Andersen (Serena) of Orr, MN; and his sisters, Rose Meng of Texas and Lucille Barton of Nebraska. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
