It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Joy Brecht of Central City, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Simmons and Charlene Simmons (Goodman); her husband Cletus Brecht; her sister Sherma Oliphant; and her grandson Nick Brecht.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Brecht (Shirley) of Marion, Steve Brecht (Cheryl) of Center Point, Phil Brecht (Judy) of Central City, Pete Brecht (Diane) of Central City and Laurie Brecht of Mooresville; and her siblings, Sheryl Sandersfeld (Tom) of Cedar Rapids, Pam Kircher (David) of Center Point, Patsy Smith of California and Mike Simmons (Linda) of Lakeville, Minnesota.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
