He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Martin and Velma Van Alst (Goyer); and his wife Erma Jean Meakins. He is survived by: his son Marcus; his daughter-in-law Celia; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Austin (Morgan) and Braxton. He is also survived by his four children, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
