It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Phipps of Centerville, Iowa, born in Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Phipps and Kathleen Gibford (Baldwin); and his brother Lowell Phipps (Pete). He is survived by: his children, Valerie Phipps of Rock Island, Robyn Stevens (Terry) of New Hartford, Stacey Doak of Lowell, Rennie Bradley of Davenport, Charlette Montero of Columbia and Elizabeth Marks of Quapaw, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Ted Phipps (Reta) of Jerusalem, Arkansas and Wilma Hansen (Bud) of Newton, Iowa.
A memorial has been established to the Family of William Gary Phipps and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
