He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gardner and Nadyne Gardner (Jordan) of Centerville, Iowa.; and his siblings, Beverly Peckham (Tom) and Jimmy Gardner. He is survived by: his caregiver Richard; his wife Barbara Gardner of Centerville; his children, Jordan Lee Gardner of Centerville and Julie Mihalovich (Dan) of Centerville; his granddaughter Kelsey Anne Mihalovich of Windsor Heights, Iowa; and his siblings, Leroy Gardner (Janice) of Urbandale, Phyllis Thomas (Gary) of Centerville and Rosalee Inman (Richard) of Hamilton, Ohio.
