With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Irwin of Centerville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Irwin and Leone Irwin (Wells); his grandson Dylan Irwin; his great grandchild Miley Breese; and his siblings, Don, Jim and Shirley Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Kim Baker (Joel), Joan Mattly (Bob), Mitch Iriwn and Deb Irwin; his grandchildren, Jeremy Cortesio (Krista), Danielle Baker, Melissa Baker, Sarah Breese, Wes, Lindsay Breese, Mike, Jacob Breese, Lisa, Jarrett Mattly, Josie, Clayton Irwin, Anissa Irwin, Bradley Irwin, Amanda Patrick and Ashley Patrick; his brother Vern Irwin; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Pasa and Helen Irwin. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
