He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guffey and Edith Guffey (Leopard); and his siblings, William "Skeeter" Guffey, Jr., Ethel Thomas, Ronald Guffey and Lester Guffey.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Dawson; his children, Steven Guffey (Syrel), Robert Guffey (Anne), Michelle Cairns (Mitch) and Diana Young; his grandchildren, C. J. Guffey, Amber Breitigan (Josh), Mikayla Guffey, Tyler Young, Reagan Young and Jacob Cairns; his great grandchildren, Azalyn, Tyberius and Felyx Breitigan; and his siblings, Bonnie Brassfield, Dale Guffey and Virginia Schiedel.
