With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Maxine Hatfield of Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Armstrong and Anna Armstrong (Couchman); her daughter Babbette "Babs" Thomas; her siblings, John Armstrong, Patricia Armstrong and Phyllis Whitfield; her sons-in-law, Mike Walker and Larry Swayne; and her brother-in-law Robert Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Swayne (Kevin Bankson), Rodney Hatfield (Cathy), John Hatfield (Patty), Kimberly Walker and Jimmy Hatfield (Carissa); and her siblings, Mary Taylor, Wanda Armstrong and Willard Armstrong (Barb). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
