He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Henderson and Helga Henderson (Almquist); his wife Mary Henderson of Centerville; his children, Mike Henderson (Carol), Marla Henderson (Jeff Shurtz), Steve Henderson and David Henderson; his grandchildren, Scott (Lexi), Bryan (Brandi), Travis (Cody), Trevor, Joslyn Allgood (John), Kyle and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden, Audrey, Bailey and Braxton.
