He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Whisler and Leora Whisler (Davis); and his niece Nicole Whisler. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Thomas; his children, Mark Whisler (Meggie Blozovich), Matt Whisler, Mike Whisler (Megan Campbell) and Jill Whisler (Eli Grove); his grandchildren, James, Nola, Charlotte, Maxton, Kase and Raeleigh; and his siblings, Connie Stephens (Pat), Clifford Whisler, Delbert Whisler (Pam) and Jerry Whisler (Cathy).
