He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Schopp Jr. and Helen Louise Withrow Schopp; his sister Arvilla Louise Schopp Samples; his grandparents, John Edward Schopp Sr., Arvilla R. McCumber Schopp and Oak Park; and his granddaughter Rachael Sydney Schopp.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Beverly McKettrick; his former wife Betty Millich Archaletta; his wife Martha Wendland; his children, Lori Ann Walker (Mike), Kenneth William Schopp (Patsy), Wendy Denise Stith (Gary), John Edward Schopp IV (Mary Ellen) and Nancy Michelle Smith (Keith); his grandchildren, Justin Walker (Jessica), Paul Walker, Kenneth Schopp (Jenny), Kimberly McDaniel (Andrew), Allison Phillips (Matthew), Megan Wheeler, Brett Stith, Morgan Schopp, Amanda Smith and Bailey Smith; and his great grandchildren, Sydnee, Caroline, Lillian Walker, Bella, Emma Schopp, Teagan, Aiden McDaniel, Adelaide and James Phillips. He is also survived by 12 step-children.
