He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sindt and Gladys Sindt (Olson); his wife Reatta Coffman; his children, John Sindt, Katrina Farless and Debra Sindt; his in-laws, Plaz and Mamie May Coffman; and his siblings, Alan Sindt, Warney Sindt, Dean Sindt, Wayne Sindt, Kenneth Sindt and Rosemary Dipple.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Sindt and Jerry Sindt Jr.; his siblings, Lucille Dipple, Janice Estabrook, Sandy Fisher (Fred), Cindy Sindt, Larry Sindt (Jackie), Gale Sindt (Debbie), Albert "Obby" Sindt (Linda), Lyle Sindt, Danny Sindt and Ervin Sindt (Sheila); his grandchildren, Jeremiah Morrow, Kevin Sindt, Julie Morrow, Justin Long, Emilee Long, Levi Long, Lindsey Terrell, Ryan Sindt, Chase Whicker, Emily Smith and Danielle Terrell; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Kaydence, Adeline, Landon, Addison, Zoie, Brianna, Emeree and Bryson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Salem Cemetery- Udell.
