He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stevens and Ada Stevens (Marvin); and his siblings, Tootsie Fry and Larry Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bane; his children, Tracey Stevens (Jamie), Deanna Chessel (Tim), Bradley Stevens (Brandi), Lisa Edwards, Larry Samuels, Corina Adams and Phillip Carman (Trelawney); and his siblings, Dolly Buckallew, Evelyn Linley (Lazalle), Melva Furnald (Tim) and Jack Stevens. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

An open memorial has been established to the family.
