It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Koran Brees of Centerville, Iowa, born in Sewal, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Koran Brees and Ila Mae Brees (Palmer); his wife Connie VanDyne; his children, Chasity Brees-DeYoung (Melissa) and Christopher Brees; his sisters, Karen Santana, Nancy Brees, Sarah Rupalo (Duane) and Mary-Lynn Freuh (Don); his niece Katie Freuh; and his brother-in-law Tony Santana.
