He is survived by: his former wife Mary Nadine Guffey; his children, Gary Purvis (Kathy), Terry Purvis (Patty), Jerry Purvis (DeAnne) and Billy Purvis; his grandchildren, Lisa Sage (Shaun), Stacie McCoy (Nate), Jarid Purvis (Rachel), Lesley Cook, Doug Cook (Tina), Andy Purvis (Rebecca), Beau Purvis and Cody Purvis; his granddaughter-in-law Stacey Purvis; and his sister Florene Brown.
