With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francine Stickler of Centerville, Iowa, born in Libertyville, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Brozovich and Rosemary Brozovich (Winkler); her husband Dennis Ray Stickler Sr.; her children, Dennis Stickler Jr. (Stephanie) of Oskaloosa, Steven Stickler (Stacy) of Centerville, Trinita Shewry (Chad) of Ottumwa and Mindi Blizek (Mason) of Promise City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Harley Stickler, Michaela McCarl, Katie Shewry, Evan Shewry, Logan Shewry, Ben Blizek, Alex Blizek, Elizabeth Blizek and Briella Blizek; her siblings, Irene Strickler (Alan) of Urbandale, Jeff Brozovich (Diane) of Townsend and Tony Brozovich (Karin) of Mystic, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Walter of Centerville and Rick Stickler (Shelly) of LaPorte City, Iowa. She was also cherished by friends, and most importantly, her children and grandchildren.
Francine was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis R. Stickler, Sr.; her parents, George and Rosemary Brozovich; and a brother, George Brozovich Jr. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville with Father Timothy Armbruster officiating.
