With solemn reverence, we commemorate Flora Jo Martin of Centerville, Iowa, whose life came to an end on August 9, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Flora Jo may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Flora Jo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bartle and Alma Bartle (Miller); her husband Carl Gene Martin; her sisters, Dolores Johnson and Audrey Ann; and her brother-in-law L. Jay Johnson.

Per Flora Jo's wishes, her body will be donated to the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa with cremation accorded.
