He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ray and Mildred Ray (Craven); his wife Jacqueline Ray; his daughter Rhonda Lynn Ray; and his siblings, Floyd Ray, Dorothy Ricky, Mabel Toepher and Betty Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, Michelle, Mike Ray (Susie) of Ankeny and Shelly Wisecup (Roger) of Ankeny, Iowa; and his sister Gladys Groomes of Oakdale. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
