The passing of Charles Albert Steahr of Centerville, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Steahr and Betty Steahr (Workman); and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Steahr of Centerville; his children, Clayton Steahr (Katie) of Muscatine and Megan Steahr of Burlington; his stepchildren, Jenny Schmidt (Jay) of Centerville and Dylan Johnson of Centerville; and his grandchildren, Braylon Kinleigh and Parklynn Schmidt of Centerville. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 19 great nieces, 12 great nephews and two great-great nieces.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 119 E Van Buren St, Centerville, IA 52544. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Every Step Hospice of Centerville and Cat Connections and cat rescue, which was very near and dear to his heart.
