He was predeceased by: his parents, Thad Sowder and Elaine Mona Sowder (Weatherley); his parents-in-law, John and Helen Sacco; and his brothers-in-law, Gary "Punki" Crowell and Charles Stephenson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sacco; his grandchildren, Scout and Madison (Tyler Wesselman); his children, Greg (Gwen) of Kansas City, Michael (Terri Kanak) of Spring Branch, Thad (Rebecca) of Mesa, Arizona and Leslie Baker of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Skylar Sowder, Hagan Baker and Hadley Baker; his sister Monna Lee Stephenson of Irving, Texas; his sister-in-law Margie Crowell of Centerville; and his son-in-law Tate Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
