She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Opal Smith (Bennett); her husband Walter Dale Waits; and her siblings, Leland Smith, Virginia, Clara, Betty, Phyllis, Beverly and Wanda.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jacquelin "Jackie" Selby of Seymour, Marjorie Housh of Seymour, Robert Smith (Sheryl) of Dexter and Donald Smith (Judy) of Ripley, Tennessee; her daughters, Connie Jaco of La Vergne and Linda Gagen of Hoover, Alabama; and her goddaughter Katrina Wilde.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Anna Waits Memorial and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
