He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Hugh and Ethel Irene Henderson Scott; his brothers, Charles Scott and Dan Scott; his nephew Craig Scott; and his great-nephews, Aaron Scott and Jacob Dirks.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Sue Williams; his children, Dr. Sarah Scott (PhD) of Mt. Pleasant, Lindsey Ewing (Gordon) of Centerville, Brandon Scott of Grundy Center, Britt Scott of Bloomfield and Coleman Scott of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Kameron Flick, Kylie Ewing, Kalvin Ewing, Vincent Scott, Darrell Scott and Eleanor Scott; and his sisters-in-law, Debra Scott of Gilbert and Carolyn Scott of Bloomfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial has been established to the family to be designated at a later date.
