It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vern Roseberry (Center Point, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Merle Thompson; his stepfather George Thompson; his father Paul Roseberry; his stepmother Bernita Roseberry; his sister Shirley Roseberry; his stepbrother Fred Cress; and his siblings-in-law, Don Rhodes, Ed Wall, Bob Benson, Jim Sherman, Raymond Haars, Barb Carver, Virginia Benson and Robyn Benson.

He is survived by: his wife Velma Roseberry of Center Point; his daughters, Debbie Merritt of Marion and Cindi Peacock of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Reece Merritt of Marion and Paige Peacock of Hiawatha; his son-in-law Bill Merritt of Marion; his stepsister Jeanette Rhodes of Donna, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Helen Wall of Richardson, Ann Comried of Plano, Pat Sherman of Center Point, Wayne Carver of Center Point, Bill Benson of Shellsburg and Ken Benson (Pat) of Middletown, Ohio; his brothers, Mike Roseberry (Priscillia) of Central City and Dave Roseberry (Michele) of Fairfax; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Center Point Ambulance or Fire Department and Hospice of Mercy.
