It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita McCartney (Center Point, Iowa), who passed away on February 1, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Zayden; her siblings, Sharon Osborn and Gary McAtee; and her parents, Lloyd McAtee and Ina Miller McAtee.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Takes (Jim "Tiny") of Center Point and Brian of Marion; her grandchildren, Zach (Katrina), Sydney, Brody and Brogan; her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Nevaeh; her brothers, Jerry McAtee (Shirley) of Solon, Larry McAtee (Marge) of Lisbon and Duane McAtee (Anna) of Ely; and her brother-in-law Ed Osborn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
