Rita Mary Benesch Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Mary Benesch of Center Point, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Leo and Eleanor Boyer (Wahl). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Franklin Benesch; her children, Gerald Benesch (Jane) of Center Point and Peggy Andrews (Wayne) of Marion; her grandchildren, Randy, Rick, Roxanne, Renee Benesch, Aaron, Bryan Andrews and Sally Del Llano; her close friend Mary Jane Gustoff of Center Point; her grandsons, Ronnie and Rod Benesch; and her siblings, Marie, Lynn Marvin, Leone and Donald. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service Center (622 Main St S, Center Point, IA 52213). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (516 Rowley St, Walker, IA 52352).
Memorials in Rita's memory may be directed to the Center Point Library or to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
