He was predeceased by: his parents, Priscilla "Perk" (McNiel) and Robert Techau. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughters, Sara Berns (Andy) and Rachel Ballard (Adam); his grandchildren, Aiden, Irie Berns, Carson and Rylie Ballard; his siblings, Sharon De Penning (Jerry) and Bob Techau (Ann); his nephews, Jeremy De Penning, Jody De Penning, Brett Techau and Christopher Koranda; his uncle Pat McNiel; his cousins, Alan, David, Kevin Techau, Diane Hanson, Amy Techau, Gary, Larry McNiel and Debby Nickerson; and his pet Oliver.
