She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Deike and Winnie Deike (Dannen); her husband Francis; her brother Donald Deike; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Deike, Mildred Deike, Lois Deike and Cheryl Deike.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Barrick of Center Point, Cindy Franzen (Lester) of Waverly, Laurie Barrick of Cedar Rapids and Jody Shields (Terry) of Lampe, Missouri; her siblings, James Deike (Veronica Goodale), Leroy Deike, Roger Deike (Anne Cooper), Marlin Deike (Diane), Alvin Deike (Sue), Waneta Leege (Ray) and Evonne Lents (Dale); and her grandchildren, Kelly Franzen, Shawn Franzen, Rachel Wellman (Andrew), Josie Anderson, Stephanie Strong (Zack) and Mark Ruiz. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in her memory, to be designated later.
