He is survived by: his wife Beverly Kappmeyer; his children, Geary, Paul (Debra), Tim (Sue) and Michelle Kappmeyer; and his sister-in-law Theresa Kappmeyer. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
