He is survived by: his wife Shirley McNamara (Ellis); his children, Nicole "Niki" McElligott (Darrell) of Center Point, Teresa "Tess" Dea of Center Point and Linae Smith (Jeff) of Gilbert, Arizona; his siblings, Mary Rita Jones Greiner of Naples, Florida and Joe McNamara (Lois) of Ryan; his siblings-in-law, Peg McNamara (Don) of Ryan, JoAnn Reimer (Brian) of Des Moines, Iowa, Jim Ellis (Linda) and Don Ellis; his grandchildren, Dylan Silver, Reegan Appleby (Ken), Brennan Silver and Tinley Dea; and his great grandchildren, Norah and Charlie Silver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other friends and family.
