He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Robinson and Grace Robinson (Romaine); his son James Robinson Jr.; and his great grandchild Jermina Graham. He is survived by: his wife Freda Robinson of Center Junction, IA; his children, Valerie Willard of Cedar Rapids, IA, Donna Robinson of Center Junction, IA and Kevin Robinson (Jessica) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Anna Robbins, Desiree Bettmeng, Ava Robinson, Gretta Robinson, Melissa Robinson, Kaylin Robinson and Corey Robinson; and his great grandchildren, David Lovell, Jemasi Graham, Blake Sennett and Callie Sennett. He is also survived by seven siblings, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
