He is survived by: his wife Judy Hamilton; his children, Michelle Hansen (Brock) of Wyoming, Denise Mead of Phoenix, Karla Bowen (Roger) of Wyoming and James Mead (Megan) of Maquoketa; and his sister Myrna "Cokie" Eggers of Tipton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
