He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Petsel. He is survived by: his aunt Georgia Lois Shultz (Inskeep); his spouses, Leo W. Shultz and Barbara Shultz (Welsh); his children, Danica Allen (Billy), Chelsea Rosenberg (Chris) and Nathan Shultz (Angela); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn John, Hannah John, Wyatt John, Avigail John, Charlie John, Grandpa John and Papa John; his stepbrother Ray Barnes; and his sister Judy Wier (Bernd).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family who will use the funds to benefit young local musicians.
