He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gasway (Jack) and Miriam Gasway; his wife Harriet; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Birdie Labovitch; his siblings-in-law, Mile Lane, Shirley Labovitch and Al Malmon; and his grandson-in-law Andrew Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Gasway (Julie) of Cedar Rapids and David Gasway (Arlene) of Norwalk, CT; his grandchildren, Melissa Nelson of Cedar Rapids, Brent Gasway (Erin) of Indianapolis, IN, Joel Gasway (Crystal Roach) of Marion, IA, Lily Gasway, Isabel Gasway (Andrew Bedell) of New York, NY, Sam Gasway of Denver, CO and Adam Gasway of Lincoln, NE.; his great grandchild Hattie Gasway of Indianapolis, IN.; his siblings, Nancy Malmon of Minnetonka, MN and Robert Gasway of Tarzana, CA; his sister-in-law Harriet Lane of Mendota Heights, MN; his sister Loretta; and his brother-in-law Herb Modelevsky of San Clemente, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
