With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Newberry (Cedar, Iowa), born in Capron, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother LaVerne; and his son Samuel (Beverly). He is survived by: his spouse Beverly A. Davis; his daughter Deborah; and his sisters, Marlene and Sandra. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the family.
