He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul David Bowers and Hilda Elizabeth Lafler. He is survived by: his wife Zenaida; his daughters, Sara of Cedar Rapids and Erin of Cedar Rapids; and his brothers, David Bowers of Cedar Rapids and Randy Bowers (Janet) of Taneyville, Missouri. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
