He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barry and Betty Lou Barry; his brothers, Chris and John Barry; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Brown, Diane Hike, Maureen and Cathy Barry.
He is survived by: his wife Gail (Wiley); his daughter Molly Schwarzhoff (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jason, Ellie, Katie, Jackson, Sonny and Charles Schwarzhoff; and his siblings, Mike (Cathy), Tim (Sue), Brian (Deb), Chauncey (Debra), Scott (Brenda), Joe (Elaine) and Maureen "Mo" Brown (Doug).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorials may be given directed to Tunnels to Tower or Noelridge Green House.
