He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Scott and Ruth Scott (Mayer); his brother Roger K Scott; his nephew Ricky A Scott; and his niece Stacey Scott.

He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth and Larry Scott; his nieces, Karen Klostermann and Sherry Surrett; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Corey Scott (Dee), Kevin, Jacob Klostermann, Booker Scott, Austin Surrett, Brittany, Katelyn, Brianna, Samantha Klostermann and Justice Surrett; and also River Scott.
