She is survived by: her siblings, Linden D Smith and Lorrie J. Schwartz of Glendale, AZ.; her husband Harley L Gillespie; and her children, Kenny Patten (Monica) of Fairfax, IA, Kim Maxheimer (Ron), Janice Patten, Aaron Gillespie (Kerre), Nancy Freybler (Kevin), Denice Bennett and Cedar Falls.
In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that any memorial contribution be made directed towards the family's discretion.
