He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia (Grimm) and Nicholas; his daughter Brenda; his wife Emma Lucille Petty; his siblings, Evelyn, Lula, Neomi, Johnny, Eddie, Francis, Helen, Millie, Merle "Red" and June; his grandson Derek; and his niece Holly.
He is survived by: his former wives, Wanda and Sandra; his children, Cindy Butterfield, Nick Brummer of Texas and Joe Barger; his stepchildren, Jimmy M. Kimpton Sr., Jack C. Barger, Wanda Floyd and Sandra Fleck; his grandchildren, Andrew Barger (Brittany), James, Eden, Carson, Mason, Lucas McMurrin (Taylor), Angela, Sarah Bailey (Albert), Amber, Sonja, Angel Stover (Carlin), Sean Avery (Marie), Spencer, Heather, Jacob, Jimmy Jr., Hunter, Calbe and Jaden; his great grandchildren, Emma, Justin "Jay", Melanie, Angel Renae, Andrea, Makayla, Jakalyn, Ethan, Robert Allen, Alexa, Elijah, Lukie J, Lilly, Gabriella, Kyran, Alyx, Mia, Deacon, James, Eden and Hadley; and his great great grandchildren, Kaylee and Addalynn.
