She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bethen and Emma Bethen (Vopalka); her husband William; her daughter Linda Hines (Roger); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Oakley; and her brothers, George and Frank Bethen.
She is survived by: her stepfather Sylvester Riggins; her sons, William (Victoria) and John (Teresa); her grandchildren, Bradley Oakley, Christine Angerer (Robert), Janet Henry (Douglas), Derek Hines (Sehrish), Christopher Oakley and Steven Oakley; and her close friend Roberta Oakley.
Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice in Rose's name.
