It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Tayek of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Tayek and Marcella Tayek (Sabbann); his wife Beverly Burrack; his sister Maxine Johnson; and his nephews, Jake Tayek and Mike Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Shrope (David) of Marion, IA and Rodney Tayek (Arletta Henry) of Anamosa, IA; his grandchildren, Chad Brown (Kati) of Marion, IA, Whitney Shrope of Marion, IA and Samantha Tayek of Cedar Rapids, IA; his great grandchildren, Grant Brown of Marion, IA, Vincent Brown of Marion, IA, Lucas Brown of Marion, IA, Hayden Curtis of Marion, IA and Izabella Curtis of Marion, IA; and his siblings, Ron Tayek (Gloria) of Farmersburg, IA and Marlys Kaiser (David) of Saskatchewan, Canada.
