He is survived by: his children, Loren Jacobson (Lisa Graveman), Brendan Jacobson (Tonya), Skyler, Hadley, Braelyn and Lizzy Lockhart (Shane); his grandchildren, Wyatt and Watson; his daughter Heather Kayser (Jake); his grandchildren, Zach and Zoey Kayser; his daughter Ronda (Dan); his granddaughter Nicole Avery (Jon); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lailah, Shyla, Elijah, Owen and Jude; his granddaughter Heather Lawrence (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Rylee, Zayne and Auden; his siblings, Lemoyne Jacobson (Elaine), Ellen Van Sabben and Marlys Larsen; and his sister-in-law Babe Jacobson.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
