He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Munson and Leonora Munson; his wife June; his son Gunnar; and his siblings, Margaret, Lillian, Helen, Opal, Melvin, Vernon, Viva, Ramona and Donna.
He is survived by: his friend Bill Ferrill of Kansas; his sister-in-law Virginia Svestka; his children, Ole Munson (Julie) of Arizona, Signe Henderson (John) of Cedar Rapids and Erik Munson (Becky) of Toddville; his grandchildren, Odin Munson (Chris), Robert Benesh (Rogan), Will Riepe, Gavin Munson, Grant Munson (Emily), Tracy Winegardner (Drew), Hillary Munson and Tanner Munson; his great grandchildren, Ashton Espinoza (Jon), Aspen Chavez (Ruben), Jaxon Munson, Shaylin Munson, Gunnar Munson and Delilah Winegardner; his friends, Steve and Sally Meyer; and also Carrie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
